What will I receive during a delay with TUI fly?
What we arrange for you in case of delay
Short flights (up to 1,500 km):
- Refreshments and meals if delayed by 2 hours or more
Longer flights (over 1,500 km):
- Refreshments and meals for 3 hours or more delay
In case of overnight stay
- Accommodation
- Transport between airport and accommodation
Sometimes we choose not to offer all care to get you on your way faster. Your rights are set out in European Regulation 261/2004 (EU passenger rights legislation).
On the way to your holiday
- If you are delayed by 8 hours or more, you will receive a delay notice (document for your insurance)
- Check your insurance policy - often you will be reimbursed for missed holiday time
On your way home
- We will keep you informed and may take you to the airport later
- You get a delay declaration for your employer
- Note: travel insurance usually does not cover return travel delays
We will do everything we can to make your trip as smooth as possible.
